I have a chance to get a set of mickey thompson sidebiters for a good price, I am just worried about them bein aluminum, does anybody know how they hold up to some real abuse.

 

I'd go aluminum any day as they are light and strong... of course nothing's going to stand up against deliberate destruction and a steelie will take more punishment...

how much are we talking I'm interested if you're not

 

Well I think I can get a set if 4 with 31" bfg all terrains for $450, I would sell the tires, and put my 35" mt/r Kevlars on them

 

Does anybody have experience with these or any similar wheels?
