Alternator light shows discharge?

Alternator light shows discharge?
My alternator light comes on shows discharging. Lights get brighter/dimmer A/C fan motor speeds/slows.
I change out the alternator w used unit. The same thing is happening!
Is there a relay or a fuse that can be the cause of this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
