Tonight (Sept. 25,2015) I am charging the old battery (will have to replace) and hopefully after two years, the XJ starts and comes to life.


Had to get a JY special radiator and new tranny lines, but the ball joints and all the rest are in.




First dinner, then see if enough of a charge has been put into the battery to see if it starts.

By saying "almost there", I assume your saying you're almost at that point where you dump tons of ca$h into an XJ and can't stop caus' its so much fun......

Insurance, registration, battery, IAC motor, carpet, fuel pump power window motors, windshield.


She starts and idles rough.
Drives and needs power steering fluid.


But she moves.

 

BUT drifting don't count.
