all 4 wheel drive problem

1994 cherokee...display says "CHECK 4 WD SWITCH" all four wheels on the display are lit up. What do I need to check four or where is the switch. Its my doughters jeep "God help me" Thanks

is the shifter working for the 4wd and can you get a pic of what you are talking about
