im looking to pickup some new wheels for the xj. right now im running 235's with no lift and that is probably not going to change for a while. i was wondering if i should go with 15x7 or 15x8? also i was looking at the backspacing of 3.75 and was wondering if anyone has a picture down the side with these specs, just so i can see how far they stick out. ive been browsing the lift thread and didn't really find what i was looking for.

you can run 15x8s with 235s. mine sticks out about 1.5" in the front with 3.75" backspacing. but that's with 31s. you should stick out about 1" with 235s.

 

Id go with a 15x7. I dont like 15x8s unless ive got a tire thats 14.50 wide. The skinnier the wheel, the less chance you're gonna break a bead if you air em down.
