Like the title states my airbag comes on randomly. When the light came on I hit my center console and the light went off or when I turn my steering wheel the light comes on. Now the weird thing is the light will go off by itself. What is causing this the clock spring or the module. My horn works.

 

Probably the clock spring is kinda broken, only making the contact sometimes. See mine shot, got pulled over and punched my steering wheel airbag light came on and horn stopped working. But the blinkers still do turn themselves off.

 

Are the clock spring easy to change. Always afraid to mess withe the airbags. I know disconnect the battery wait 30min then work on it.

 

I have no clue man, easiest way to find out is go to the local pull and pay and start taking one apart. I've learned to just live with it. I'll be adding a train horn soon so it fixes that problem, as for the light I'll probably just remove the bulb.

 

Idk if it my module if I hit my center console the light sometimes go off now it just randomly comes on.
