Default Advice Needed on 01 Grand Cherokee Limited

Hey guys! I need some advice. My wife & I are looking to buy a used family vehicle. We have found a local individual selling a 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 V8 2WD. It has 75,000 miles on it. She says it has no engine problems, the Jeep is in perfect condition, always garaged, one "adult" owned & driven vehicle, & upkept on maintainance. The question I have is, is there any underlying problems that I should be looking for when looking at this vehicle? We are expecting our first child, and I am looking for a safe & dependable vehicle to put her & our child in. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

We bought our '04 w/the 4.7 V8 new, and now it has 88,000 miles on it and we love it.
Here is some interesting reading. http://www.wjjeeps.com/tsb.htm

I'm not sure where you live, but if it is a place with snowy winters, are you sure you want 2wd instead of 4wd? It sounds like a good Jeep you found. One owner vehicles are always nice. Carfax it though. Something else you could do is go to a Jeep dealer and have them run a vehicle inquiry and see what sort of service has been done to the Jeep. The only thing about that is the service would have needed to be done at a dealership.
