I'm putting 400 watts of lights on my jeep. I'm needing some advice to upgrade the alternator?

You should be fine with your stock aternator. Im currently running 4 100w lights on the roof, 500w amp for my sub, a 350w amp for my speakers, and have upgraded my headlights to run 80/100w bulbs and never have any issues. Even with them all on and blasting at once they are fine, so im sure you will be ok with just 400w worth of lights.
