Default Add a stinger or no? Pics*

So about a week ago i finally was able to get some work done on my jeep, im not done yet but soon will. My questions are

1) Do i add a stinger or no?

2) Does anyone know the legal hight of a stinger for Socal?
(i know there is a legal high for street driving right?)

Yea your gonna want something up there to protect the winch. There someone around me with like a 4ft stinger on the front of an XJ, looks so stupid.

Definitely stinger, or at least a little bit of a brush guard. Kinda boring without.

Stingers are retarded what do the protect the winch from? Rocks, ya no. If you like the way they look put one on. Some people like to play dress up. Me I build for function. And a stinger will let a rock go right into your winch and maybe help center it right on it. Maybe it helps in a rollover, ya think you might have other things to worry about at that point.

the main reason why i want it is in case i go face first it will prevent me front flipping forward

Looks like you used the wrong size dies to bend the ends of your bumper!?!?

haha yes! by the time i realized it i didnt care since i will be bashing it into rocks anyway

but the right side came out a little better

Yep ta Hell with it! Looks like you got some good ideas thus far with the bumper! I say as long as you got the right size die bend it up, & tack her on there... then i'll answer!

orr maybe for a better approach angle?? if you roll up on a rock with a flat plate in front and the rock goes up to the bumper your skrewed. if you have even a small stinger you can just ease up it till your tires connect. they arent just for "dress up" they are for function. so before you start talkin **** on something you should know what they are for. oh and they do help in a rollover. if you have a cage protecting the body and no stinger you wont mess up your hood too bad. without the stinger you will crush it....thats all
