I'm picking up my very first XJ TODAY!!! WoooHooo! It's a stock '99 Classic for now, and it's...forest green! I have been looking for a while and most of the ones I went after were black or dark blue, but I do like the green as well. It will be a daily driver so I might not go higher than a 3" lift, but we shall see.

Great forum guys!!!

I guess the more popular color in 99 was forest green,LOL. Mine follows that same stat. RE 4.5, soon to be long arms, some armor, and 33s. Stock axles and gearing d30, & 8.25.

First post here and since I have a '99 I thought this was the perfect place to start. Bought mine new in April of 1999 and have done a few things, I won't list them here but here's a pic so you can see them. By the way my drivers seat is also broke. I secured it by wraping a couple of hose clamps around the left side rail, so far so good.

I have never seen any rims that I have on another Cherokee. Why are my rims different than you guys factory rims.

Those are the steel rims available on the Sport model. The aluminum one's were also available on the Sport. The Classic and Limited models came with aluminum only I believe. The SE has steel wheels also, but they are different from those.
