Looking for some opinions/ideas on my xj. The leafs are getting bad, (see pictures) and I think while I'm at it there's nothing wrong with a little height, right? haha... 3.5" is as high as I would want to go, as this is my DD. I'm looking for a full pack, not an AAL for obvious reasons, and I'd really like to keep the price as far down as I can (school has this trend of keeping one short of money), but I don't want to get a crap lift either. Suggestions? Other ideas for the Jeep? I was thinking Rough Country, or possibly RE, depending on money. Anyone know any other brands that might fit the bill? Or where I might be able to get a good deal? I've checked Quadratec, and I've seen RC and RE's sites, know any others?

If you notice, especially in the first picture, the leafs are not good, so aal would be a bad idea. If your leafs are in good condition, you should be fine with aal. It's when that new leaf has to support most of the weight of the vehicle that you have the problem.

if your funds are low RE isn't the way to go, a good quality product, but not inexpensive by any means. check out the rusty's 3", or you could always make your own for pretty cheap. as for sites to buy from, i think qtec is overpriced. jeepinoutfitters.com is good, 4x4groupbuy.com has pretty good deals sometimes.
