OK, so my 98' GC has a whinny rear. The U-pull it yard wants 75. . Quest is, how do I take the rear out ? I believe it's a matter of dropping the drive shaft, cutting the u-bolts off and the leaf spring on one side. Then there will be the brake line and the shocks. Am I missing anything ??

Grand Cherokee has coil springs in the rear.
Disconnect: The brake lines; E-brake cable; ABS speed sensors; shocks, drive-shaft; 2 upper and 2 lower control arms; sway-bar end links if equipped, and it's loose.
Note: Your '98 has a D44a and if you use a different rear axle the drive-shaft you have won't work.
