Default 95 xj RUSTED FRAME RAILS..

I just picked up a 95 cherokee with 123k for $200.00.. I got it from a local school buss garage knowing the jeeps frame was rusted.. my question is could i drive it like it is.. ALL the floors are rusted out and the drivers side frame rail could come off with a push.. I know how to weld and have a welder. I will try to get some pics off the frame and were its rusted.. I really want to keep it, the thing runs like a champion.. Thanks in advanced for any replys,..

I like driving rusted vehicles ( now I'm guessing you mean sub frames seeing that XJ's never had a "frame"). Never know when the taco cometh.

put some insurance on it and drive it straight into a tree or roll it over a few times to completely total it

If the frame rails are so rusted you could easily push them out I wouldn't be driving that thing at all. Get another one and use this one as a parts donor and then part the rest of the good stuff out.

the jeep is nice.. GREAT interior alomst looks new.. great engine with 123k purs like a mountain lion..

the back portion of the frame rail.. CRACKED

the front portion on the drivers side, that I can put my finger through..

as you can see on the bottom right the rail is cracked were it meets the leaf spring mount.. the passenger side rail is perfect no rust holes..

on the bottom right is the crack..

THE DRIVERS SIDE..

let me know if you gyts think i should keep it and drive it around a little.. i really want to hold on to beacause of the low miles and mint interior..

Just find alot of thick metal and have some fun welding. If it doesn't work your out what, $250? Not a big deal.
