i wanting to swap a 96 jeep sport 4.0 into a 95 jeep that has a 5.2. before i actually do this. i'd like to find out for sure what all i need to do.
i do have both jeeps so any parts swaps i need to do i should have it.
if it is possible to do.

Would be cheaper and easier to put another 5.2 in that grand cherokee.To use the 4.0 you gotta change the trans probably the t case the whole wiring harness the ecu and probably more.

saving money isn't always easy. but, that's what i'm trying to do if the parts from the 96 can go in the 95. i have more time than money and almost no knowledge of jeeps. i'm a ford person.

Whats wrong with both jeeps ?

seems i waste time here the wife doesnt want to do nothing with the 96. so as far as im concerned it has become a big yard ornament. thanks for the help. the good thing is im still a ford person.
