Default 94 jeep grand cherokee buying advice

hi i found a 94 jeep grand cherokee with 140k it has leather seats and comes with 2 sets of tires/rims. the original and 31s. The problems this is from what i asked him the passenger door does not close because the hook that catches it is broken, and the front bumper on the left side hangs a lil bit. He said it has a lil rust on the rockers but just surface rust. other than that no leaks from what he said. he is asking 1500 but said he can go down on price I was thinking id offer him 1200.

What do you guys think of this heres the link to it if you guys want to look at it

I'd say yes go look at it. Since it is located where it is be sure to look everywhere for rust especially underneath and the rockers. The thing is with the zj's ('93-'98 grand cherokees) is the rockers have covers on them, so it harder to tell. In the pic with the black wheels it looked like it had some lift. So make sure it was done safely and properly. Test drive it well to make sure it rides good and functions properly. Some zj lift kits can be quite expensive, so it could be a plus if it has one of those. The hanging bumper and lights could be nothing or could be front end damage, so look at that as well. Also if for any reason you can't crank or drive the vehicle then i would just walk away. But overall (if nothing major comes up) i'd say for $1200 its worth looking at. Another thing is you could sell the extra tires and wheels, making the overall price go down. For example buy it for $1200, sell wheels and tires for $150= your only out $1050. Just trying to help, good luck!

thanks for the reply and from what he said while his aunt was backing out she hit the front on a pole or something like that. I asked him the same thing as it does look like its been lifted he said its not kinda interesting cuz it does sit high. Any way good point about the tires and you can always assume stuff until i go and take a look at it i wont know for sure whats good. But since its only about half hour away i might as well take a peak at it. once again thanks.
oh yeah also asked if it was in a accident he said no but who knows.

I have a feeling that it was lifted because in the pic with the black wheels the front end isn't damaged. And he said it wasn't lifted and the front end was damaged. So from the pics you can kinda get a timeline. I mean come on, you can clearly tell it was lifted. But either way its still worth looking at. Just remember the rust, it can make it not worth the hassle.
