I was wanting to know what numbers in the VIN tell you a Ford 8.8 has 4.10 gears & limited slip.

Its not the vin its the tag on the drivers door it will give a axle or rear end code and you want a D2 code a D5 is a 3.55 lsd and D4 is a 3.73 lsd
