I haven't seen pics of these with leather seats in my searches so I thought I'd post them up here

Nice! Looks clean. While Jeep never produced a 60th Anniversary Edition with leather seats, those look very clean and well done! Possibly a dealer add-on? I'm curious who produced them. Any tags or manufacturer marks? Any pictures of the rear seat?

I wonder if they are out of a Grand Cherokee or something, but the brochure didn't really list anything;

Here's some more info if you are curious

The 60th WJ did have leather but they were light in color (high contrast interior) without any embroidery IIRC and were of the typical WJ low back bucket design. Those XJ seats are too nice to be a cheap leather job, that's why I'd assume dealer add-on. Possibly katskinz leather (or similar quality) if they've held up that well over the years.Originally Posted by investinwaffles

I ran the VIN through a generic build list site and it mentioned cloth seats... wasn't the official sheet but leads me to believe the dealer set them up.
The stamp on the back says classic soft trim, quick google turned up a location in Northern IL so that makes sense.
Here are more pics.

Very nice! I think the 60th anniversary editions in the UK / Europe had different specs. We got full leather front seats (no logo), half leather back seats, front and rear bumper endcaps in black, and a different set of alloys.
