Is $6,000 for a used XJ too much?

Damn, if you overpaid then I got straight duped lol , but mine was very original. Which is nice to be the first one going into projects .

A few years ago when I joined this forum, I stated "Enjoy the cheap XJs while you can"
I got my Lic in 1981, Hot 68-71 muscle cars were dirt cheap, and I burned through plenty of them: 69 mach1 - $400, 70 ramair Javelin (390/4spd) - $300.00
AMX's - $300-500, Cudas/Challengers - $300-500, and they stayed cheap through the 80's,,
You could go to any junk yard and there was rows and rows of these cars.
along came 1990-92 and "poof" they were gone, like overnight gone.
In the next year or 2 you will see any clean XJ fetch 10K, junk yard XJs will dry up in the nest 3-4 years, 5 years from now any clean XJ will be 10-15K,
Supply and demand
