my 98 xj is 2wd and soon i am coming across a good amount of money and i am doing a 4x4 conversion...

im trying to price it out, also i am getting upgraded gears so tell me if im close to price range...

-i need front and back axle with 4.10 gears
-4x4 transmission
-and transfer case

i figure about $1000 in parts (only cause ive seen a pair of axles for 600 obo idk if thats an average used price)

and maybe $1000 in labor to do the swap???

so i'm thinkin around $2000 for the hole job please correct me if im way off

 

So your going to let someone else do it for you?

Your also going to need new front and rear drive shafts (or used ones from the jy or something)

and any and all linkages and plastic bezzel stuff

 

yeah i dont think i wanna tackle a job this big i had enough trouble installing my lift kit i dont think i can pull it off.
