If you do any crawling, the bigger the tire, the better(to and extent). It will bring your diffs up another 1/2". I love my 33's!

I dont think I would go bigger than 32" tires. I drove my brothers XJ with 33's, and I didn't feel it had quite enough gear for them for daily driving. But if its just a weekend rig go 33s

I daily my 4.5 in lifted 89 on 33's. Just depends on what else you got. Gears, rear axle, etc. But I bought mine that way, so I can't really tell you what I'm missing. But I'm not complaining, either.

With stock gears, 33's do drag quite a bit. If you live in a flat place like i do(florida) its not that big of a problem but if you live near the mountains it gets kinda annoying. Under 50 mph it isnt bad but trying to go up a hill on the highway is a PITA. But you can always re-gear.
