Default 31's vs 30's which ones!!

Ok so I've got a 98 Cherokee with a 2 inch lift, so I'm debating on what tires I wanna go with. 31's or 30's. I've seen pics of both and can't decide.

Depends on what price you can get. If prices are close the same, I would go with 31s because many tire shops still keep them in stock where most of the time 30s have to be ordered. Tire selection is also a little better with 31s

I went with 30s because I got them for a great price used with very little wear. I just bought new 31s though, again because the price was basically the same as 30s and the 31s were in stock.

It's a matter of slightly better mileage with 30s, more rollover with 31s, less stress on everything with 30s but not by much, and obviously price.

33s. Your 31s will look small in a few months and you'll wish you went bigger lol

Then the 33's look small and you get 35's.

I am buying a set of these. Will they fit with a 3" lift and minor trimming?

They'll fit, but he wouldn't be able to put his shocks on.

30x9.5's looked kinda small IMO.

I went with 31x10.50 in a Cooper AT3, which measure 30.3" so they worked out perfect. I did have to trim on my 2" lift but am going to install a 1" spacer.

If you are sticking with a 2" lift, go with 30x9.5 unless you like the stuffed look.

So with 31's I'll have to trim the fenders? I'm not really trying to do that
