31" BFG AT on Gambler Wheels
Well, the wheel/tire trade happened today. I could have gotten a better deal if I would have held out, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. The next step is to sell my 32" spare, pick up another 31 for a spare and drop the lift hopefully with-in the next couple weeks. Then I will sell the Heep next year and get a WJ if/when things pick up.

All the parts came from a ZJ Grand Cherokee. You will need the backing plates, calipers/pads, hoses, and rotors. You will need to enlarge the center hole so it will slide over the 8.25 axle. You should have to do that on a 35. I also had to enlarge the mounting holes one size to get them to go over the studs. I broke both metal brake lines and the fitting that goes into the caliper as I was trying to remove it. No biggie, head to Auto Zone and pick up the appropriate size steel line. It was definitely worth the money and time. I only did it because I need my stock rear brakes done and this was a little bit more money, but it gave me an excuse to upgrade.

Rear Disc Conversion
Both those enlargements are on the rotors?
Don't know why manufacturers still install drum brakes unless it's to add weight to the rear. Maintenance is definitely easier w/ disc systems.
Do you notice any difference in performance?

the enlargements are made to the backing plate, not the rotor. yes, i noticed a difference. from what i have read, the stock proportioning valve is 70/30 a ZJ with rear discs is 60/40 which would yeild better braking performance. it's a simple swap of the proportioning valve or swapping the internals is even easier.
