Im putting this in fabrication becuse it will probably involve alot of it.
I have been looking for a Cherokee for a while and recently one of my dad's friends from work his wife died. He is going to be retiring so he is going to be downsizing. One of the things he is getting rid of is his wife’s 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It is almost the prefect jeep it has 70,000 miles, garage kept, almost never seen any type of precipitation and looks like it just came out of the factory. The only downside to this car is that it is 2wd . Being that the car is in perfect condition and is only $2000. How would I go about converting it to a 4wd. Should I get a cheap donor car to pull the 4wd parts I need??? Plz help.

 

Step 1: buy that for the deal your getting.
Step 2: turn around and sell it
Step 3: use that money for a real 4wd CHEROKEE
Step 4: use the spare money to lift it

 

No converting from 2wd to 4wd would not necessitate much fab if any.

All the provisions are already there to make the vehicle 4wd and should all bolt up.
