The tires you have now are slightly taller than both of those other sizes. The 225/75-16 is the smallest of three at 29.3" tall by 8.9" wide.

yea but is the 30" tire measured at 30" tall,i would measure but i do not have the 30's yet,the reason i ask that is cause i know that 31's measure to 30.5"

would there be a noticeable difference between 245/75/16's and 30x9.5x15?

Well ... 245/75-16 is supposed to measure out to 30.5x9.6. What rims do you have them on?

Well ... I have 245/75-16 tires on my truck with fairly new tread. Problem is ... I don't have a spare the same size. Figured you are trying to get those 15" wheels and might wanna part with yours.

The tires I have are Jetzon Mud Claws also known as Sigma Mud Claws, and sometimes called Eldorado MTZ Sports. They are awesome in everything but sand. They get through mud better than any of my friends mud tires and climb better too. They suck in sand unless aired down. They are mounted on Jeep Liberty wheels.

My problem with them is I am looking to go bigger and I poked a hole in the shoulder of one and the sidewall of another. I have five of them (one not mounted), all with only a couple thousand miles on them. My plan was to get a radial tube and another 16" wheel and keep the one with the hole in the sidwall as a spare. I also don't trust the tire with the plugged hole in the shoulder anymore. I am getting tired of buying replacement tires in this size though as I want to go bigger.

If you kept the Ranger rims I would still have more tires than rim though. We could trade with some cash on your side. Your bald tires plus rims for my 5 meaty tires plus rims. Or ... you could just buy my tires.

thats sound like a good idea but i dont see how that will help u if we traded rims and tires even with cash on mine side,my front tires have about half tread and the rear has about 30% left,2 are cooper discoverer lt and 2 are futura scrambler ap but they are the same size
