Default 2002/2003 cherokee 2.7 crd ?

hi all im thinking of buying a cherokee 2.7 crd ltd , never had a 4x4 before but i now have a baby and with the winter months ahead im thinking of a 4x4 for a safer option, i only go to work and back on a weekday ( 2 miles each way ) and on a weekend we go to the caravan we have ( 35 miles each way ) could anyone give me a bit of advice on what these jeeps are like please as like i said earlier ive never owned a 4x4 before and i like the look of the cherokee. thanks lee

In America its a jeep liberty but most people do like them,Only bad thing i heard about the diesel was a lack of power.Being a newer 4x4 it should ride and drive just like a normal car.Take it for a good test drive see if it you like how it drives and rides.

Try www.lostjeeps.com, we here only really discuss the XJ Cherokee and the Grand Cherokees (ZJ, WJ, WK).

As far as I understand the VM Motori 2.8 fixes the reliability problems with the 2.5L head gasket. Plenty of power too.
