Just like the title says; I'm throwing around the idea of selling my current XJ to fund a Spec E30 race car for fun. After selling some 20 cars or whatever it's been, I've begun to notice that Kelly Blue Book isn't even a representation of what things sell for anymore. It's bone stock except for a new Kenwood CD/iPod player that I put in a few months back. New tires. Zero leaks. The only thing I can think of that's wrong with it is a bad passenger window regulator (which will be replaced if I decide to sell) and the paint has some sun damage from the previous owner. The Jeep is in great shape and I've got a folder full of receipts and an Excel spreadsheet I made to document time/mileage of my maintenance from cooling system flushings, heater core replacement, oil changes, A/C recharge...hell right down to wiper blades. I believe I'm the third owner. It's silver in color if that's of any importance. Thanks for any help! If I can't make a buck off it, I'll just hang on to it I suppose.

Below 100k miles is very rare. The silver (grey) ones don't sell as well though. A big factor is if its 4x4. Also Sports seem to sell the best and SEs sell the worst.
I bet you could make $5000 off someone on this site (XJ lovers can't pass up the the 83k), or $3000 for a typical buyer. Add $500 to both those numbers if its 4x4.
This info comes exclusively from me looking at every jeep cherokee in central tx on craiglist for the past month.

I just sold my 99 that had 107k and no.options for $5k in 4hrs. Coulda got $55 but I wanted it gone fast. If you were closer and the inside is as clean as the out I would give you $5k.

Try selling it to a Canadian. There is a high demand for clean rusk free Cherokees here. Most of the Xjs in my area are rust buckets because of the amount of salt we use. For an example of the market. I bought my Cherokee for 5000$ Canadian with 65k miles and that's considered a pretty good deal.
