Forget the spacers all they are is a band-aid for an incorrect wheel just buy the proper wheel to begin with.
For a better lift made in NA not China go with Rustys Off Road 3" complete leaf/coil/shock/hardware package $438. With the proper wheels like a 15x8" wheel with 3.75" of BS is correct you will need nothing else and can run up to a 33x12:50 tire with stock LCA's.
Don't worry about the kids sounding off on the D-Window wheels I run the Cragar Soft Eights and a set of beadlocks also. Price isn't the reason most run them its durability and being able to beat one out to repair it on the trail if it gets bent. You can only do that with a steel wheel and try to save the spare until the wheel or tire can't be repaired on a long trail ride.
In a entry level lift kit the most important thing plus the most costly are the springs leafs/coils buy quality there if you can.

Nice setup! Did you need wheel spacers or control arms for it in order for your wheels not to rub? You think I would be fine with my 2" lift if I cut some of the fenders back to add the napier flat fender flares?

i didn't use spacers or anything. tires will rub a little on the lower arms at full turn. not a big deal to me.
i would think with only 2" that you'll have to do some cutting. guess it al depend how much those flares make ya cut as to if the tires will fit or not.

The aftermarket control arms are not as wide as the stock ones and they are a lot stronger,So getting them is a win win.But when it comes to rubbing it depends where you rub on how you can fix it.If you rub when the suspension bottoms out you need taller bump stops. If you rub turning it can be the control arms or sheet metal and both have ways to fix it.

you have no issues with the wheel and a 5.25" backspace? I'm looking at a 16"X8" wheel with 5.00" backspacing with the same size tires you have. If I install the napier flat fender flares is says I will increase the fender well opening about 2" in the rear and 3" in the front. You think I would have an issue with the setup I want to go with? I still may go with 1.25 wheel spacers so it doesn't look funky with the flares jutting out.

no issues yet.. like i said the tires will rub the lower control arms when fully turned but that doesn't bother me. i'm sure i will have to bump stop it but i have to flex it out and see how big of stops it needs. just haven't had tie to do that yet.
not sure. cutting that much should help. with the big flares it may look better with a rim that has less backspace. i wanted to keep the stock flares and wanted the tires to stay under the stock flares so i went with a stock style wheel with more backspace.

Like I said, I might just go with the wheels with the 5.00" backspace and then get the 1.25" wheel spacers. It just seems that most people on here hate on wheel spacers. Some suggest control arms for me but not sure how that would help with the spacing of the wheels?

The problem with a spacer is if it breaks your wheel comes fully off,Think about driving down the road and a wheel comes fully off and the jeep slams down and skids on your brake disc or drum tell you come to a stop. That's why people like me say never use them its a safety risk.Take a look at http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-ge...l-spacers.html http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/167822-wa...l-spacers.html

i don't know.. how do we know they were the right spacers and even installed properly. th estock studs are broke off in that guys picture. seems to me it must have loosened up and then snapped the studs. de he retorque them? were they torqued properly in the first place? did they fit the hub properly in the first place? so many unanswered questions there.. in the end its not the spacer that failed. it was an oem part.
I am sorry to tell you this but your failure was due to improper installation. Spider trax spacers are hub centric and lug centric. Your lugs were not properly torqued down to the vehicle hub. When the wheel comes off the hub, the vehicles weight ïs now on the lugs. Thus shearing them off. I have a lot of experience with spacers and adapters on other vehicles and I have sold plenty of sets of them too.
Common ways of these failing is the installer puts them on a rusty hub and the spacer does not slide on the hub correctly. It needs to go on smoothly. Not tight, not snug and if it does some sand paper will get the rust off.
Did you file insurance claim?
I send all my cars out torqued to 125ft lbs.
Lucky we are here to even have this discussion!

Okay so now I think I will go with these:
-16"x8" wheels on 265/75/16 tires
-Rubicon Express 3.5" Super-Ride Suspension Lift Kit with Twin Tube Shocks and Rear Leaf Springs
-Rubicon Express Steering Stabilizer
-No fender flares since the backspacing on the wheels are 5.00" and it seems abodyjoe is doing fine with pretty much the same setup but with 5.25" backspacing.
-No wheel spacers
