the 4.5" won't really effect your mileage, tire size will though. I'm on 31's and get about 17-18 mpg average.

^same. I see these posts all the time and wonder why are you worried about mpg when you own a cherokee. Dont meen to be an ***, it just seems like if you own and modify one of this things you should expect ****ty mpg.

I do expect crappy mileage but not 13.5 mpg. I think mine can be improved to atleast 16, 18-19 if i go from 32's to 31's

i comptely agree i know jeeps dont get prius type mpg but im getting 168-185miles a tank i would say my mpg is already bad and i have no idea why mabie my foot is a little heavy..also im in highschool with no job so this is killing me my 250$ a month i get from child support
Im having the same problem, i just put a 4.5 inch zone lift with 33x12.5x15 at tires on it and goes about 180 miles before the light comes on. should i drop down to 31'' or regear. plus im getting a lot of popping and grinding noise from the rear. ive been told i need to relink the drive shaft or get a sye. thoughts?
