I live in Michigan and we got a bunch of snow dumped on us the other day. This is the first winter I've had with the Jeep and it was a good time to try out the 4x4. It has the Selec-trac system in it. I put it in 4x4 full time and everything seemed good until I tried to put it in 2wd. The part time light came on and won't go off. I've read to shift from full time to 2wd while driving and it will go properly, but in order to do that I have to go through part time 4x4 and I don't want to hit a dry spot in the road and mess anything up. For now I have just been driving in full time to avoid any damage. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
