There's a few things ya need to look into before cutting; how is it structurally secured (frame stiffiners, roll cage, solid bumpers), how are you gonna approach the tail gate, & how are you gonna pass safety?

Not trying to be a buzz kill, but I've been plotting my chop for a while now... Just wanna make sure you've covered all your bases!!!

If you must, do it where the rear side windows start.

if you plan on making a cage for it i would try from the windsheild, i havent seen too many chop tops get super clean around that edge if they cut at the window

Ive seen one that was cut rite were the rear window starts, it looked ok, He reused the back hatch rite behind the front seats so it looked somthing like an old ****** pickup, But he also cut the quarter panels at 90' angle which I did not like. But good luck in what ever you dicide. Rember this cuting too mutch it becomes hard to replace. It will never be the same! But if its your toy by all means cut that sucker and injoy... If I were to cut mine I would get a good roll bar or xoskell cut it at the windshield and if it rains a bar of soap. Ive seen some cool canvas tops too so just to keep the sun off my balding head! Jeep-on-brothers.
