Default 2 door chop top cherokee ideas

i got a 94 2 door cherokee and i am thinking about cuttin the roof off and idk if i should go from behind the seats or right from the windshield need ideas and pictures thanks

There's a few things ya need to look into before cutting; how is it structurally secured (frame stiffiners, roll cage, solid bumpers), how are you gonna approach the tail gate, & how are you gonna pass safety?

Not trying to be a buzz kill, but I've been plotting my chop for a while now... Just wanna make sure you've covered all your bases!!!

If you must, do it where the rear side windows start.

if you plan on making a cage for it i would try from the windsheild, i havent seen too many chop tops get super clean around that edge if they cut at the window

Ive seen one that was cut rite were the rear window starts, it looked ok, He reused the back hatch rite behind the front seats so it looked somthing like an old ****** pickup, But he also cut the quarter panels at 90' angle which I did not like. But good luck in what ever you dicide. Rember this cuting too mutch it becomes hard to replace. It will never be the same! But if its your toy by all means cut that sucker and injoy... If I were to cut mine I would get a good roll bar or xoskell cut it at the windshield and if it rains a bar of soap. Ive seen some cool canvas tops too so just to keep the sun off my balding head! alright thanks and i got this truck for free and beat the crap out of it so now i am just goin to cut the roof but i think i am gunna move the hatch right behind the seats and leave the roof above the seats and saftey im not that worried about haha its a woods truck and i can get it inspected

i say from the wind sheild and then make a nice cloth top!

I personally think two doors look great just the way they are but if you really have to then ill just leave this here.

yea if i drove that red cherokee that was posted up there i would mostlikely just drive it off a cliff because that thing is ugly and my truck right now looks nothing like that...and thanks maybe i will find some nice cages on that link.
