Won't hurt it to go doorless without tube doors. Not sure where this "it'll fold like a taco" set of mind is coming from, but you DO NOT have to have frame stiffeners or any of that other crap to go doorless. That's just some heresay bull ****. The doors ARE beneficial to the integrity of your jeep, but no where near enough to effect the rigidity of your unibody should you take them off. PLENTY of people on here running on 35s or more doorless with no frame stiffeners or tube doors .. with no issues whatsoever.

Doorless with zero issues for well over a year now. No frame stiffeners either.

And ignore the random stang picture.. won't go away.

Hmmm ! What kinda wheeling do you do ! And yes you can ride around town and light trails with no doors all year round with no unibody support but once you start wheeling hard I would recommend stiffeners ! Look at it door frame near the lil black vents ! I will pretty much guaranty there is lil cracks starting or will be ! Almost all 2 doors get them ..... That is stress cracks on the unibody ! So xj-manic you are right it won't fold like a taco ! But of you wheel hard core you will crack ur unibody and say bye bye to the jeep

Yes it can crack your unibody with very hardcore wheeling, however that will happen with or without doors over time.. frame stiffeners are great don't get me wrong, however theyre not needed for a good 90% of the people on here that want to take their doors off. They are defintely strongly recommended if you hardcore wheel period. With or without doors.

I wheel hard without doors, they will not stop any body flexing at all.

The unibody strength is designed around the unibody itself. Not bolt on parts like doors or hatch.

Doors will not stop unibody cracking.

Latest Cherokee mod, LineX bed liner on roof to stop paint from peeling and rusting. No more worries about canoes or gear scratching the roof.
