Default 1998 Classic Tires

Hey guys new Cherokee owner and this is my first post to this great forum.I finally found a clean 4x4 Cherokee to use as my DD.Im looking to replace the 235/70-15s that are on the Cherokee with 235/75-15 Goodyear Wranglers OWL they have at Walmart I can get an awsome price on them. These tires will be used 90% on the street street.Has anyone ever used these tires?Should I go OWL out or black out?I am going to add a 2" budget boost with AAD soon. What do yall think?

Buy those 31" Goodyear authority tires. They're barely over 30" tall like 30.2 inches I think. I had a guy at Goodyear tell me those are a good tire but just have a weak sidewall... which if its 90% street is prolly no problem. they're made for Walmart... by Goodyear.

That way way when you put a 2" lift on it those tires don't look dinky.

Walmart tires? You mean the tires that are made out of inferior materials compared to that of the tires sold by more reputable resellers? :P

Goodyear Wranglers are great, but I would recommend the Duratrac or MT/R with kevlar. You can find great deals on them online that will probably match that of Walmart and you will get better quality.

Gee,looks vaguely familiar. Lol. Oh,and for reference, mines a 99 with 235/75/15 duratracs. I know the Walmart tires you're looking at resemble them if you're wondering about the look.

Your rear end looks a bit saggy.

To the OP: if your gonna be going with a 2 inch boost why not just go to 31s? Id say for street driving and little trails go BFG A/T
