1996 jeep country reliability

Is a 1996 jeep country with 245k miles worth my 1500, or is it a risk with such high mileage

I've seen a lot go higher but expect to maintain it and fix old parts.

Or do you think It would be better to go with a 95 with 110k for $2700

Depends on what you want to spend. If you want to keep up with the regular maintenance, 245k's practically just getting broke in.

Well oil pump and sender is $1000, that alone would make up the price diff and justify getting the lower mileage one.

Just saying, and rear main seal and exhaust manifold are probably bad on the 1996.
