1995 Jeep grande cherokee orvis 8 Cyl 4x4 question
My jeep
Recently started making a clicking sound in dashboard only after start it for a few mins. Any ideas what problem may be? Also what is the best oil additive to keep engine running clean etc. Added seafoam one time only in gas and oil per instructions and wouldn't use it again as had all
Types problems after. Any one else experience this ? Thank you for responses

WELCOME,Sissy.
As far as your dash problem you'd probably do better asking about it over at the Grand Cherokee Tech forum.
IMHO with the cleaning capabilities of modern oils there's no reason for additives unless you have an exteme sludge condition in which case I'd use 1qt. of Marvel Mystery Oil (MMO) in place of 1qt of oil.. Otherwise you may want to consider going with one of the Rotella oils(T Triple,T5,T6). Within the last yr I've switched three vehicles over to T6. One vehicle ('98 5.2 Durango) had a fair bit of sludge. I changed the filter only at 3000mi and could see a difference under the valve cover already. Last week I did an oil and filter change at 8000mi and it was as clean as you could possibly want it. Others may reply with their experiences with different brands of oil that will work just fine. My experience is with T6.
Now when it comes to oil filters you want a GOOD one. MOST here swear by WIX(NAPA Gold).

Seafoam no. BG44K IF you feel you need to use an additive.
