1995 Jeep Cherokee Passenger Door Installation
Hope someone can help. A couple of months ago I bought a '95 Jeep Cherokee that runs great but needs a little cleaning up and bodywork. Last week, while parked at the mall it was hit by another car (no idea who did it) on the passenger door, causing a large dent in the door, that also damaged the trim piece. I took it to 3 local body shops for a repair quote - and they all came back around $1300... a little more than what I paid a couple of months ago.
Anyway, I located a 1995 "zero-damage" complete door from a local parts yard that is also a color match for $195.
Could someone provide direction on instructions to replace the door myself, or estimate what is should cost me to have someone install the new door for me? Is it a difficult job... it doesn't appear too difficult, but I might be missing something.
Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
