If a vehicle is not registered for highway use none of the tires can be on the pavement when towing. What's up with the title on this rig?

You can get a duplicate from the DMV for a small fee.

that is, if the title was in his name, & not an open title with previous owners name, or maybe passed through several hands, & who knows who had previous legal title.

seen it happen alot around here. or title lost to a title loan company, or who knows what, or maybe stolen. or someone have a title that was picked up, that doesnt match vehicle numbers, seen it happen, I have looked at a few vehicles that title didnt match. as well as seen some that I knew the VIN plate had been switched on.

truth... even for just a mud jeep, most states require you to have an OHV sticker witch requires a title. i know in california you can get a new title in your name with a bill of sale and the required forms they have that the PO has to sign.
