$1200 is a LOT of coin. how old are you? how old is your jeep? what kind of wheeling do you do?
take half, put it into your jeep. take the other half and put it in your savings account. a year down the road, you will be happy you made this decision. this is coming from the guy with well over 10 grand in his dumb jeep.

I'm 26, it's a 98 XJ limited in great shape. Expedition/wheeling mud/snow and forestry areas are where I'm focusing my wheeling. No big *** rocks for me lol. Not trying to sound like a snob but I'm more than set with my savings currently, this is what I have left after putting the other half in my ROTH from tax return. Plus I also have a nice portfolio of stock over 1000 shares of a mix of Chipotle, Google, Apple and some others that I'm sitting on(my uncle is a very knowledgable financial broker)

well, thats a horse of a different color. most kids on here are 19 year old spending pizza delivery money. if you're happy with the size and capability of your rig, fine tune it. new shocks, steering, replace whats worn out. $1200 will get you parts and labor to regear though... if going bigger is on your mind. stiffeners are also a great idea to add some strength and longevity to your jeep.

with that much lift i'd look into drop brackets or LAs if you dont already have em, with a nice set of monotube shocks. OME coils and leafs are only made for up to 3" lift, so for that much height you'd need spacers up front and shackle relocators and longer shackles out back.
unless you're getting more serious wheeling, you dont need to truss the 30. a full case locker (like a detroit, ARB, etc) and a good strong cover is all you'll need. i'd use the cash to start buying up parts for the regear.

I just want a solid rig that can explore as well as get dirty and go on road trips and hopefully a pilgrimage to Moab next year or end of this year...possibly Florida in September.

Serious LA's are on my list for sure. I thought I saw you could use ZJ coils from OME since they go up to 4.5"? That's what dpgoffroad uses in their kits I believe.

If you don't have tow hooks and things like that, I'd look at bumpers. If you do, I'd look at lockers/gears/tires.
JCR usually does pretty good black friday sales that save a lot. If you want something big from them, you might wait, unless you need it right now.
