Default 1/2 ton axle upgrade

Alright ive searched up and down this forum and all ive found is different types of axles to use. I have decided to possibly go with a Ford 9 for the rear and a Dana 44 for the front. i was wondering if theres anyone out there that has completed this task and if you have some pics/tips for me.

There are tons of write ups on those axles. Try Pirate and NAXJA and you'll find much more detailed write ups. Oh and what ever you think it's going to cost, double it and you're almost there. Last time a full width D44 and matched 9" came in a vehicle was 1979 so you'll get to rebuild them before you get to start the swap.
