Looking at an 00xj 124k on it. Oil pressure at idle is about 25. When driving 35. Could the sensor just be crap or is the oil pump going. I hear a slight wrap but not bad. My zj knocks and has 279k.

 

i'm at 60lbs when cold/driving, ~30lbs at idle on my 93,

running rotella 15w40

 

Could need an oil change and filter. Mine idles at 25 and goes to 45 while driving. I run 0w30 wt oil

Oil was kinda dirty. Well if I get it ill fix it. Lol. May also be the sensor going bad. Fsm says 13psi is good for idle and 42 is wot. Guess it is fine then.
Its soo much better. Needs a front tire guy liked to hit curbs habab. Price is right for me. Wish me luck. Hope the dealer I work at helps out. They let me take it home. I already have lift plans for it too. Hahhaa.


I only use shell t3 15w40 with a mopar filter in my 6cyl. Except my wj which uses amsoil 15w40 syn with a amsoil filter.

 

I run 0 weight oil. Pressure is overrated.
