Default zone rear shock relocation

Hey i was looking at this and figured it is porlly a good idea. However i would imagine that my shock travel length would be effected. possilbly too much. Am i right wrong and does it matter. 3 inch lift rough country shocks. thanks

I bought mine from www.ruffstuffspecialties.com .
I bought the axle side mount shock brackts and they have other mounts to choose from. I still need to put mine on but they are very nice mounts.

If you want you can cut off the stock ones trim them where you want and reweld them to the axle.
