Default TJ fender flares

Any one put TJ fender flares on their XJ? I thought I seen it done here but cant find it. My son has an 03 TJ and is replacing his flares and I want to try to fab his old ones to my flareless XJ.

TJ flares on an XJ is a common thing. If done nice it looks good. A lot of people use four rear tj flares, that way they get around the marker lights on the tj flares. I was going to do this on my xj but have sinse decided to make my own steel flares instead.

Here's a couple links.

I have been searching with no luck. Not sure I'm doing it right being a newbie. Is there some pics of this?

JP Magazine has a writeup on how to do it. Just google it.
I plan on doing this as soon as I find a TJ in the junkyard... Which may be never

I'm doing this in about a month to mine. I'm using fronts and rears from a TJ. Instead of not running the marker in the flare though, I'm gonna remove the side marker on the fender, fill and paint it, and then run the light to the flare marker.
