rear bumpers are required in michigan? that sucks. Ran around in mine with no rear for almost two weeks without a word from the fuzz, but of course they dont say anything to the guy on 49s and rockwells either tho. They're not too strict on that kinda stuff down here in georgia lol

well they're ususally pretty lax about it... but i know a few of them in my town and when i drove it to my house i got pulled over with expired tags and no insurance..... he let me take it home and told me "i don't wanna see your truck on my streets again until its legal, cuz if i see your truck on the road again i'm gonna be looking to see if your legit" so i figured i wouldn't give him a reason to pull me over

I would ask or look it up, I'm pretty sure in most states its perfectly legal to run around with no bumpers. I asked our resource officer before if it was before i took mine off and he said "its legal, but not really that smart"

yup, georgia doesnt have many laws like that on vehicles. I mean beadlocks are even technically legal here as there are no wheel laws in georgia. Now I'm sure if the guy here drove that blazer on 49s around every day then they would get him, but he doesnt drive it everyday, just to get it where it needs to go. Half the trucks around here are lifted so the police are really used to it, and i would say at least some of them drive illegal vehicles around themselves so they cant really say anything lol

i used .20 wall 1x1 stock to reinforce the bottom part of the bumper and to give the plate something to weld to
