oh, make the gas tank into a fresh water tank!!! well you'll have to put in a new container and lines, but fill it thru the "gas" spot that would be cool!

Awesome idea I think it would be best done with a 2 door XJ chopped at the fire wall, but idk about the cargo areas though!?!?

I don't know, I have slept in the back of my xj by myself and with a friend, and it is not comfortable, not enough room at all.

if you built a totally flat platform from from front to back, it would be plenty long enough to sleep in. plus, you could use the area under the platform for storage. if you leave the doors operational, you would be able to get to your storage from either side. i think it's an awesome idea!

also, if you left the windows in the doors operational, you could velcro some mosquito netting to the inside of the door and still roll the window down for fresh air!

pull the gas tank... cut the top off... remount it... then cut the floor out above the gas tank... creat a hatch there also and youve got even more storage...

yeah or you could make it a two story.... or you could use two jeeps and put both the backs together and have two tanks one for water and one for sewage... a double wide would be sweet too
