I got around to building my new steering box spacer today.
I used 1/4 inch thick cold roll plate and some 3/4 id 3/16 wall cold roll tube.

seems like that would be a PITA to grab and pull when you need to, especially if it's obscured by mud and such. Any plan for a pull strap or t-handle welded to that bolt head?

i concur - only welded on one side and eccentric weld loading = it's going to tear off quite easily.

the lugs are getting cut off today, i was kinda eager beaver to get progress done,so i crap'd the bed on that. I will be welding them flat to the bottom side of the bumper with support plates front and side. Witch should stop any breaking points.
As for the linkage its a fairly large size bolt head so shouldn't be to much of a problem. I eventually will come up with a better system, for now this is what I'm going with.

Ok bin having some fitment issues i have to work out. Also bin getting distracted by other things on my jeep. So haven't updated.
I cut the pull points off going to make new ones not on the bumper when the Exo cage comes.
I put a coat of paint on the bumper.
I did my second test fit with the winch in,
Well didn't work out so well my linkage ended up jamming into the steering box so I've had to move the winch over 1 1/4 inches to make room. (Going to make the winch off center should Be interesting on how it will look. )
I also noticed the mechanical fan shroud is getting in the way so will be pulling the mechanical fan out and putting in an electric fan instead.
