Default Stealth Rusty's Corner Guards

If you are following my build you would know I am in the process of building a stock looking XJ but making it very trail capable and stealthy. Lockers, skids, etc...

If your not following it well....click the link below.

So i was looking for some rear corner guards but something that I could use that would not attract attention to the vehicle. i want to be on the trail looking like a newbie with a stock vehicle and use my hidden secrets and 25 years of offroading and surprise the doubters.

I found the Rusty's Corner guards and they seem to fit the bill for my plans..

take these

and hide them behind these..

they mounted up with ease...

we built a bracket for an extra mounting for the factory cladding..

Used a large pop rivet to hold the cladding to the bracket..

used the factory fasteners where we could to hold the rest

taillights cover the rivet

finished product...hidden rear corner guards...rollin the stock look.

That's bad ***** man!
Guess you don't mind changing the plastic trim though when it gets torn up by rocks?
You got a sweet build going

Thank you...

When it gets tore up you can pick the corner cladding up all over for Penny's on the dollar since everyone pulls them off for the off road look and aftermarket bumpers, take the new ones, hit them with some white plasti-dip, bolt them back on and call it a day and back to stealth mode with no real body damage. I'm building a "stock cherokee" FJ killer....

another reason that it has jeep mud flaps in the desert...stocker...
