the bends are actually better than what shows in the picture.
i clamped it in there to give you guys a better idea, nothing is ground or ready to weld (obviously)

Next time you meet a good body man give him a hug. He is a very patient, very skilled man. I am not, and am thinking about going a different route. will try a little more next weekend but pretty close to scraping 1.0 and tring 2.0

Daddy likes thicker metal. Highley aggatated i cant get it. i got further than what picture i took but was to pissy to take any more. My time is becoming very short supplied so this is really making me mad. The process takes to long, and if i do scrap it i was waste about 4.5 hrs in it so far.
I do need a new .308 target though. so some good might come out of it

hard part is finishing it. i am knocking it all down with a 60 grit flap wheel and i am having some serious trouble not blowing through the thin 18 ga.
I am thinking of cutting off what i have done and spot welding the top instead of tacking on the seam. in the seam i would use sandible seam sealer to make look right.

sounds like a much better plan plus thats how the factory would have dome it if they made one from the factory
