Well this is the post to show how I installed speakers in the back doors of a jeep XJ.
1. Remove all 3 screws, 2 under the coin pouch, and 1 in the door handle.
2. unclip the little clips behind the door panel (you most likely will break a few so it is a good idea to get a few extra.

2. Now be careful not to bend anything when you pull out and up on the door panel because behind it is 2 rods and a plug for the locks, power windows, and door handle. The rods come off but they are very tough, just look at the clip and it is kind of obvious but DO NOT BEND THEM AT ALL OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!

4. Now, once you get them off carefully the panel will just come off easily. from here you get to see that there is a great spot to mount the speakers once you move and cut the sound deadoning stuff. I used the stock 6.5" but I think a 5.25" will fit. you will need to bend and shape the metal a little to get a snug fit for best performance and sound quality.

5. Now for the harder part, wiring the speaker... first ,obviously, you need wire, I would recomend 16ga or lower, but no smaller than 20. Now find the correct speaker wires for the front speaker in the front. different years had different wires so you may need to look it up and I would recomend it very much. but these are what I had. don't mind the black wire I had the famous no sound in the front speaker.

6. Finally you need to find a good place to run the wires. I ran them under the panel next to the seat, (it is kinda a pain but looks good) and up the pillar, through the rubber boot, and to the speaker. (see pics for what I mean)

7. And for the last thing a did not get any good pics but you need to cut a hole for the speaker sound to go through. This part is up to you but a hole is required but for the love of mike please don't use a drill cause the insalation will cover the but. you will also want to take off some to fit the speaker better.

I fyou need to know anything else just let me know.
here is a pic if the back of the speaker with the window down all the way.

wasnt hating on it by no means, just giving constructive criticism. Car audio is kinda me and my cousins thing and we both have cherokees, so seen plenty of pictures of this done.

well then you're way ahead of me, all i have right now is stock speakers (surprisingly in very good shape) with 2 JBL GTO 12's (the good JBL's lol) in a crappy sealed box. But should be getting a probox as soon as i sell this f150 box i got. Oh and a old school JBL 150 watt amp. Yeah i know 150 watt sounds underpowered but its very very underatted. that thing is putting out more like 500 at least, done blew a 1200 watt JBL with it if that tells you anything

wow thats pretty impressive for a 150 watt amp haha, i just have a polk audio 10 with like a 250 watt orion amp, nothing too loud, but im not a huge fan of super loud bass, plus i listen to more rock than rap so my setup is perfect for it, along with my alpine type s speakers and kenwood head unit, its super loud and crystal clear
