Hey al if u hav bushwackers with this snorkle u will hav to shave the bushwackers which i think no one will ever want to shave five hundred dollar flares lol and demolition guy thanks that helps alot i was just gonna have it go straight threw and thn make it just flow into it thanks for the heads up and built guy its a safari snorkle from their ebay account i got it for 150..

wat confuses me is....i've seen pictures with ppl installing both the snorkel as well as the flares, but heard from alot also that if snorkel is fixed then flares need to be trimmed.
this image is an example of what i mean
It only sticks out about 2.75" I used 2.5" tube. The box sticks out a little more but not much. It has been hit and scraped by meany rocks and trees. I don't know how I would ever have a plastic one on for more then 20 min on a trail. And worse then that is that every tree branch in the state of WI has caught on it. If it were plastic I think I would spend more time trying to protect it then wheeling. The main reason I did is was for the fenders. I plan on running some home brew fender flairs and the ones you buy just wouldn't let me have the up travel I want.
