i gained a little bit of lift, so it sits higher in the back but once my fuel cell is full and my tire is on the roof and all the spare parts are in the back it will probably sit right

So have you wheeled on these yet? I ask because im building some very similar to yours and i was wondering about the front outside corner bending at all? Also do you have any binding when the backside of the shackle hitting the mounts?

i havent wheeled them since my jeep is getting overhauled still, but i ran them around the yard a bit and they seem to flex alot better than it did, as far as the front cornor issue just make your own nut strip and have it bolted in the front too, thats what i did but i didnt have all three in when i took the photo, and my base plate is 1/4

as opposed to making a bolt in relocating bracket, why not just weld it solid to the frame/unibody?

are you ever gonna lower you jeep? or return it to stock?

I have no idea where you heard that but that is completely inaccurate. If you don't want lift from the relocators, then you're f**ked. I've found no way (outside modifying the factory shackle box) that you can get the shackle forward enough, to achieve 45*, without dropping below the box; which yields a lot of lift (probably 3").

Here is a model I put together of the RC brackets. I've been trying to sort the issues I saw with my installation. I wanted an inch in the rear MAX, so I was hoping with the RC relocators I could drop a slot on my extended shackle, install the relocators and be golden; wrong.

Here is where I'm at; 4.5" with a 3" full leaf and 1.5" drop shackle.

After adding the brackets and dropping a hole. Notice still the huge gain in lift. (a view of the wheel gap would really show you; sorry no pic)

Now comes the second issue. The hole I've got it set at was so that I could get minimum lift. Unfortunately that sets the shackle at ~35* and yields contact with the adjustable bracket. If I drop back a hole, I'll get even more lift! So, no, 2" doesn't yield 1" of lift.

So here is model I put together of the RC components. That's set at 45* on the second from the front hole, which yields an 1/8" of clearance on the bracket....

I'll have to get more screen shots from my other ideas but if you're not looking for a decent amount of lift, dropping the shackle outside the factory box is not the answer. Also, no I'm not going to install a stock shackle; the length of your shackle directly translates to droop. You'll effectively negate any benefit if you do that; other than ride quality I suppose.
