Are you mounting it to the gutters? They ( gutter mnts.) can be purchased seperatly if so. I plan on doing so with the one I made.

ok so for attaching it to my jeep, i am gonna get 1''x3''x1/8'' flat stock, and 1''?''x1/8in flat stock. So i am gonna right above my door pillars on the roof next to the gutter i am gonna drill 2 holes and bolt the 1''x3''x1/8'' to the roof figure out how high i want the rack off the roof, then pull it off and weld the bracket together then drill holes and attach it to the rack and bolt it to the roof. and seal it TIGHT so no water gets it. and as for the lights i have a couple KC lights i am planning to put on it

With all that tubbing, it looks very heavy.

Hey - Nice looking rack. I have one in mind using 1" square tube as well. I saw this picture on a site for mounting and I am doing the same. If you get some small channel iron you can make these cool clips that grab the gutters.

Yeah the radius on the channel seams to help grab the rail if the position is not perfect. I am looking for a scrap piece since I am not going to buy 20 feet of it! I did find this place called metal depot online that sells cheap & odd sizes (length) if you don't have access to a steel yard:

yea ill go over that design with my uncle and see what he says, the only reason i am bolting it to the roof is so it wont move or break off the gutter.

Technically it is a "vehicle". But, a car cant go 4x4'n and ya dont wanna jus let yer "Rig" jus tool around at the night clubs in the city!...so All that energy I spent readin the psosts on the Jeep called a CAR! #@^%*!(!! I prefer to call it a "rig" ...and it aint yer aunt's station wagon ayether! ...of course yer aunt may be drivin a nicer rig than mine, THEN its...well you kno'.

Oh, I posted cause I wanted to know how yer gonna mount it. But I see a nice mount pic so I can make my own. nm.

I just stick to "JEEP". To call it a rig I feel like you gotta have a buggy, or exo cage or 44 super swampers. Mine's the "JEEP".
